What it is

Hospital administration software: the register of patients, the map of departments and staff, the appointment book, and the billing that follows a visit.

Built as a platform, on purpose

Splitting the API from its clients was the point of the later iterations. A hospital has multiple audiences — front desk, clinical staff, administration — and each wants a different surface over the same records. One service, several clients, was the only structure that did not collapse into duplicated business rules.
